A pentadecapeptide derived from human gastric juice with powerful tissue-healing properties. BPC-157 accelerates recovery from tendon, ligament, muscle, and gut injuries. It is one of the most widely used peptides in the regenerative health space.

Mechanism of action

Upregulates growth factor expression (VEGF, FGF), promotes angiogenesis, modulates nitric oxide synthesis, and activates FAK-paxillin signaling to accelerate tissue repair and reduce inflammation.

What this means in practice

At roughly 4 hours, BPC-157 clears fairly quickly. That's why protocols commonly split the daily amount across two administrations rather than one — it keeps the concentration curve flatter across the day instead of spiking and falling away by evening. The compound is unusual in that both injectable and oral forms see real use: the oral route is generally chosen for gut-related goals, where local action in the digestive tract is the point, while injectable is preferred when the target is a tendon or joint and people often administer near the site.
