A synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in tissue repair and cell migration. TB-500 promotes healing of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and skin. Often paired with BPC-157 for synergistic recovery.

Mechanism of action

Sequesters G-actin monomers to promote cell migration, upregulates actin polymerization, reduces inflammation via NF-kB modulation, and enhances stem cell differentiation at injury sites.

What this means in practice

TB-500 is dosed unlike most peptides on this list. The ~6 hour half-life understates how it's actually used, because its effects persist well beyond clearance — which is why twice-weekly dosing is standard rather than daily. Protocols typically run a higher-frequency loading phase for the first month or two, then drop to a maintenance dose. It's the most common pairing with BPC-157, on the reasoning that the two act through different repair pathways.
